PORTABLE PAVILION
Portable Pavillion is designed for optimum simplicity and mobility. The main idea of this design is that it is owned by everyone and brought to piazzas by a lot of people to create an active interaction area. It must be easily reachable and designed as a compact system with its blower, so package can take its place on market shelves.??The package contains two main elements; the machine and the pvc. The machine contains an acumulator and a blower. It is quite heavy to carry, so it has its own handles and wheels, which makes it dragable. The pvc is simply white. A light source is entegrated to the machine, so when it turns into night, the design can be noticed and different colour options can be observed. The white surface reflects the sun light and in the summer makes it cooler inside. Seams are thought to be hot welded.??The package design is to be modular with slight variations on its upper cover. Besides there are two system-entegrated elements. One of them is the curtain and the other one is the surface. The Curtain is rolled to the sides of the upper cover with hot welded seams and can be opened by unlocking it. It provides increased privacy and its surface can be used as an infographic board. The Surface is actually entegrated into the column and can be opened by unzipping. When it finishes inflating, it also reaches the other module and must be connected with the special locking system. When the progress is completed, two modules start to work as one. Also further additions can be made. This system allows infinite variations of space and usage. ??To mention it once again, with this easily reachable, carriable and modular design, piazzas are thought to be active interaction spaces where everybody can come with their own portable pavillion and turn it to a connection-place (like the word “market-place”).
